The state is characterized by a number of crafts and traditional industries, including the various types of fronds such as the manufacture of the AlKafran (Jar made from fronds), dates baskets and Da'on (furniture made from fronds), raising and grazing, the cultivation of palm, citrus, mango and banana. As well as: the formulation of gold and silver, and the textile of all kinds and smithrey industries.
